The National Social Science Association provides inservice training through the National Technology and Social Science Conference each spring, the Summer Seminar and the Fall Professional Development Conference.

     The National Technology and Social Science Conference is held each Spring in Las Vegas and features technology sessions and demonstrations, along with the presentation of papers, discussions, demonstrations and workshops that include all of the social science disciplines. This national conference also features exhibitors along with a video workshop.

     The Summer Seminars have a theme for each seminar. The Fall Professional Development Conference is designed to meet the requirements for professional development; all participants and attendees will receive a certificate showing the hours met by the meeting.

     All presentations at all conferences and seminars can be printed in the proceedings journals after the conferences. All presentations can be submitted to our refereed journals - THE NATIONAL SOCIAL SCIENCE JOURNAL and THE NATIONAL SOCIAL SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY JOURNAL. All members also receive timely social science information, book and media reviews, conference notes, and information on members in our national newsletters. All members can submit articles to our national journal and can become book and media reviewers. Book and media reviews appear in our newsletters and journal. Our goal is to give all social science faculty a greater opportunity to participate at our conferences and seminars and to publish in our perspectives journal and national journal.
